KeyBiz App Account Deletion

Before You Request Deletion

Deleting the app from your phone or logging out does not automatically delete your KeyBiz account or service records. Account deletion is a separate process.

Account deletion may permanently remove access to client records, documents, notifications, transaction status, filing information, and other app services. Once completed, deletion may not be reversible.

How to Request Account Deletion

1. Send an email from the email address registered to your KeyBiz account.
2. Use the subject: KeyBiz Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your full name, registered email or username, mobile number, and business name, if applicable.
4. Wait for KeyBiz to acknowledge the request and complete reasonable identity verification.

Identity Verification

To protect clients against unauthorized deletion, KeyBiz may verify that the requester is the account owner or an authorized representative. Verification may include confirmation through the registered email address, mobile number, account information, or another reasonable method.

If we cannot reasonably verify the requester’s authority, we may ask for additional information or temporarily pause the deletion request.

Data That May Be Deleted

Subject to verification and applicable retention requirements, deletion may include:

• The KeyBiz app account and login access
• Profile and contact information associated only with the app account
• Saved app sessions, access tokens, and device-notification tokens
• User-submitted app preferences and eligible support requests
• Uploaded files and documents that are not required for an active service or lawful record-retention purpose
• Other personal data that is no longer necessary for a legitimate or legally required purpose

Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained when required or reasonably necessary for:

• Tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and regulatory recordkeeping
• Completed or pending payments and financial reconciliation
• Government filings, registration services, and proof of client instructions
• Contractual obligations and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
• Fraud prevention, security investigations, and protection against unauthorized requests
• Compliance with a lawful order, subpoena, or applicable Philippine law

Retained information will be limited to the lawful purpose, protected from unrelated use, and deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention requirement ends.

Processing Period

KeyBiz will acknowledge and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period. Most eligible requests are targeted for completion within 30 days after successful verification, unless additional time is reasonably required because of an active service, legal obligation, security investigation, complex record review, or regulatory retention requirement.

Effect on Active Services

If you have an active bookkeeping, tax filing, payment, registration, or compliance service, KeyBiz may contact you before deletion to explain the effect of closing the account and to complete or properly terminate outstanding obligations.

Your Privacy Rights

This deletion process does not limit your rights under Republic Act No. 10173, or the Data Privacy Act of 2012. You may also request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or other action available under applicable law.
